I was 14 years of age and got a road bike from the local club Gamlakarleby if. Just to try, buy I got hooked. So from there the journey began that finished in London 2012.
My best memories from the road are for sure the 2 Olympic games I took part in, Sydney and London. 12 years between the games. Yes, I did compete for a very long time in cycling. 23 years to be exact. Of those years 7 were on an international level. My best results are for sure 3 World cup podiums and second overall in 2000.
When it comes to stage races I won 3 stages at Giro d’Italia, I won Giro del Trentino 2 times. That’s about it. 🙂
