A couple of days has passed since we arrived in Arco. Feels like a long time ago already. You forget races so fast, because you always have to look forward on what is coming up next.
On The last stage we climbed up to Monte Bondone. Not an easy climb at all and the heat did not make it easier. I felt tired and was happy to find a group that was going a moderate speed. Not too fast and not too slow. A speed where had to keep some pressure on the pedals, but nothing that would make me dead tired.
We arrived safely i Arco. We won the last stage and Trans Alp overall. It was an unforgettable week riding over the Alps. Having Carsten as a partner made racing very pleasent. He just knows how to handle in every situation. He has so much experience about racing.
After the finish in Arco I hit the road to Plose Mountain by Brixen in northern Italy. Here on 2450meters I will spend the next 3 weeks.
