I am sleeping so well during Trans Alp. Every night I have been sleeping close to 10 hours a night. Good for recovery. Even if I am not riding full blast, these mountains really makes you tired. Maybe also the mountain air makes me tired. Today Carsten wanted to ride the first climb with the top guys. He was supposed to wait for me on Würzjoch. I did not see him as I passed the top of the climb. I thought he would be waiting for me later on. I was sitting in a good group and I did not want to let the group go away. There was a flat part between Würzjoch and Furkelpass. So I continued. Good, because I never saw Carsten again. As I crossed the finish line he was already sitting in the comfy Sigma stand having pasta and coffee. We both had a good ride today. I felt pretty good and was just riding the climbs in a comfortable pace. Because Carsten was so “mean” to me today, he will now have to participate in my core stability training which is still on my schedule this afternoon. I will make him suffer!
