Belfast-Northern Ireland

I always wanted to visit this part of Europe. I finally made it to Belfast, all thanks to a race, Celtic Chrono. We took a flight yesterday from Frankfurt to Dublin and were picked up by the organizer. We had a two hour long drive ahead of us, but the trip went super fast. I was amazed by the green and beautiful countryside.
The hotel where we are staying in is close to the start of the time trial. Everything is so well organized. The hotel is great, the food is delicious. I even had porridge for breakfast this morning and I felt like beeing home right away. Just a perfect start for the day.
Today I did the 34km long course twice and had a car following me all the time. I have never been treated like this before and a big thank you to the organization for this.
Tomorrow will be a hard battle against burning and tired legs. It is not an easy time trial course. Today there was a tail wind during the first part and a nasty head wind on the way back. Also the roling uphills will require a good and fast rythm during the entire race.
I have to stay focused every single second and I am looking so much forward to race and suffer tomorrow.
