I am sitting on the hotel balcony. The sun is shining and I am watching over the Palma bay. It is so beuatiful, but it was everything else than beautiful this morning.I arrived to Mallorca on Sunday. The two weeks on Fuerteventura went so fast and I learned to like the island despite of the strong winds. A week home in  Freiburg allowed me to recover from the heavy traning load on Fuerteventura. I had some great days of cross country skiing and was able to refuel my body with energy. I was ready for Mallorca and some climbing in the mountains.I arrived to a suuny island Sunday afternoon, but already in the evening you could see that the weather was changing. The next morning I started early. Maybe I could do some climbing before the rain would arrive. I rode 2,5 hours in dry conditions and the next 2,5 hours in rain. I was so cold when I finally came back to the hotel.I love this island, it is so good for training. I only hate the quick weather changes here. Last night I woke up because it was raining heavily. In the morning the mountains were covered by snow. Looked really nice. So I set offearly again. Direction towards the mountains. Before I even came to the climbs I hit the rain. I big grey wall with raindrops. Well, I better turn back and try to avoid the rain. This cloud decided to follow me, so I went full blast the remaining two hours. Spinting up the tiny climbs and even despite of that I was freezing. Now  am sitting in the sun and keeping my fingers crossed that I do not have to ride in rainy conditions the next days. Come on Mallorca, show you sunny side!
