Stage 6

Only 72,5km to ride with a few climbs. Start was at 14 o’clock. Today it was not as hot as yesterday, when we had about 36 degrees Celcius.
My goal was to be active and maybe manage to go away with a smaller group. It did not work. The climbs was selective enough, when Emma Pooley was riding them up, so the group blew into peaces. My legs were hurting, but I managed to stay in the frobt group. In the sprint my legs were empty and finished 8th.
In the GC I was 6th. Happy about. After 9 years of not riding any international road races it was a good come back, I think.
