Just a short notice of todays’s stage. I feel a bit tired now. I was in a break away for 75km. First we were 5 riders, 30km later I was alone for about 10 km before I was joined by HTC’s Emilia Fahlin. We rode the last 30km together and worked well together until the end. Emilia won the sprint. I could do nothing against her in the sprint.
I am very happy about the second place as well. Many of the motorcyclist who secure the road for us came up to me after the race and congratulated me for the strong ride. I must say I was feeling good today. Hope I will recover well. Tomorrow we have the last stage. 76 km with about 1200 meters of vertical climbing.
