What a stage! Already the profile showed us that it will be a hard day, but it was so beautiful. The Dolomites are just wonderful. We had so amazing wievs and the blue sky made it perfect. Carsten had brought his camera with hime today and snapped a few photos on the way. He is not a really good photgrapher,so we just had his finger on almost every picture. Well, at least it was a good try. I bet on the Bike Trans Alp homepage there are good pics, so just have a look there. I won’t post Carsten’s pics here 😉
If I should write something about our performance I would say it was the hardest stage until now. I was also feeling a bit tired and just rode in a way that felt comfortable.
The sky is grey again and I hope it will change until tomorrow. I do not want any rain anymore. Tomorrow’s stage is also very long, 122km, with one 18km long climb. So please, some sunshine!
