Transalp, stage 8

copyright Bike Transalp10km neutralised downhill. It was cold. For the first time during Trans Alp I was freezing, but very soon int the uphill it was warm again.
Wanted to ride hard up the first climb, to have some time in the downhills if something would happen. Also not having to ride full speed downhill was our goal.
All went well today. Had a good group for the whole race. I was a bit scared on how the last downhill would be. It was a very stony downhill. I mastered it pretty well and the last 5km flat was just rolling in towards the finish.
It was a hard week and now I will need some easy days to recover.

Stort Grattis till en välförtjänt seger!

Vi har följt er från Sverige och är sugna på att köra igen. Men precis som du skriver så upplevde jag racet många gånger som väldigt farligt!
