Transalp, stage 6

Copyright: Bike TransalpIt was not an easy stage. A lot of climbing and quite a lot of single tracks. After 6 days of racing I notice that I am not reacting so quickly anymore. This means we are not taking any risks. The downhills and also the uphills are very stony. Today again we saw many teams having a flat tire.
The last 20km was flat and fast. I managed to keep the group of men we were riding with. I was happy I did not give up in the nasty climbs before the flat part. We had a strong headwind and I did not have to work, just make sure not to loose contact. Daniel was also being so supportive once again. Being the weaker part in a team is always hard, but with Daniel it is easy. He never pushes me or wants me to ride faster, which is very important.
Tomorrow we have a short but very hard stage. A lot of steep climbs will be waiting for us. I hope my legs will be ready for it tomorrow, at the moment they are very tired.
